Can I purchase any of your theater costumes instead of renting them?

At Bonnie Way Costumes, we specialize exclusively in theater costume rentals and do not offer costumes for sale. Our rental agreements typically cover a 10-day period, which is ideal for weekend theater productions. Costumes are usually dispatched to arrive on a Wednesday or Thursday prior to your opening show date, ensuring ample time for fitting and preparation. Should you require an extended rental period or have specific scheduling needs, we are more than happy to discuss and arrange special accommodations to suit your production's requirements. Our focus is on providing high-quality, meticulously crafted costumes for productions like "The Lion King," "Shrek," "Peter Pan," and more, enhancing your theatrical experience with our rental services.

Do you provide shipping for "Little Mermaid Theater Costumes" and other rentals? 

Our standard shipping is by ground through the carrier of your choice. All costumes will be shipped directly to you and each costume will be individually packeged by character and labeled for each student. We have shipped nationwide even as far as California, Florida and even Hawaii! 

Does actor selection need to be based on availability of costumes?

Our inventory is extensive and we have a large selection of characters so we can accommodate a large cast size. Since we make our own costumes we can also create additional costumes to complete an order. We will try to accommodate special requests and can make additional characters if given enough time.

Can I rent individual pieces, or do I need to rent costumes for an entire production?

We are flexible with the plot but the most economical way to order is to get the plot price. We also have a minimum order for some shows, based on time of year and the production you have chosen.  We do offer a simplified version of many costumes for the smaller schools or anyone on a budget. For Lion King, the costumes can be ordered with or without the masks, however our masks, especially the lions, lioness and hyenas are very popular so if you want your costumes to include these headpieces please order early! You can not order just the masks.

What is your policy on costume maintenance and returns?

We handle all costume maintenance. After your production, simply return the costumes in the provided packaging. We take care of cleaning.

Will the theater costumes be performance-ready upon arrival, or are alterations necessary?

We understand the importance of a perfect fit for theater productions, whether it's for "Shrek Costumes," "Lion King Theater Costumes," or any other themed attire. Our process is designed to ensure that each costume is as ready-to-wear as possible upon arrival. We tailor the costumes based on the specific measurements you provide for each student or actor, which should be submitted to us using our measurement sheet well in advance – ideally several weeks before the shipping date, but no later than three weeks prior.

These methods include school checks, money orders, and purchase orders. For schools, we offer the option of using purchase orders, subject to prior approval. How should I proceed with placing a costume rental order for my theater production?

2. Formalizing Your Order: All official orders must be placed through email or mailed with a follow-up confirmation email. Please note that we are unable to process orders over the phone.

3. Cast Size and Deposit: Inform us about your approximate cast size early in the process. A $300 deposit is required to hold the date, which will be applied to your total order. This deposit ensures the availability of costumes for your chosen dates.

4. Finalizing the Order: Once your show is cast, we will need the completed costume rental request form, a signed rental agreement contract, and a complete list of measurements for all actors. This information is crucial for us to provide perfectly fitting costumes for productions like "Alice in Wonderland Theater Costumes."
